Evelyn Lozada has made a high school boy's dream come true.

The 37-year-old reality star accepted an invitation to attend Anthony Nelson's senior prom at West Bloomfield High School in Bloomfield, Mich. on Wednesday.

Nelson, 17, asked Lozada to his prom last year through Twitter and the Basketball Wives star agreed. The day after she attended the prom, Lozada explained what enticed her to keep her word.

"Unfortunately, I couldn't attend my prom when I was in high school because I was pregnant with my daughter Shaniece," she wrote on her blog. "But this was such an awesome experience and I was so honored."

Loazada was enthrilled about one more thing.

"He even bought me a corsage," she added. "I've never had a corsage. You guys don't understand how happy I was."

Aside from being escorted to prom, the high school graduate had more request. He asked that Lozada wear the color red and she kept her promise. She wore a long, low-cut, bright red gown.

The prom comes almost a year after her divorce with former athlete Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson. The two married last July and filed for divorce in August. Her post-relationship life will be documented on the upcoming season of Basketball Wives.

"Filming the show was the first time that I was able to talk about everything that has gone on in my life," she told Hip Hollywood in an interview in February. "It was a little therapeutic for me," she added.

Still, she won't be the only cast member who will be open.

"We show all sides, bad, great, angry, crying, we are just very very open," she said. "And I think that this season a lot of people will find it very very emotional because all of us are going through something individually, very very personal to us."

Season 5 of Basketball Wives will air this August on VH1.
