'Taken' Premiere: How To Live Stream NBC's Adaptation of Liam Neeson Films [VIDEO]
Taken is back, not with a sequel movie starring Liam Neeson but as a new show on NBC.
NBC is adapting Taken for television, with Clive Standen playing a younger version of Bryan Mills, the character Neeson plays in the film trilogy. The series centers on Bryan's start as a CIA operative.
"The murder of Bryan Mills' (Clive Standen) sister launches him into a dangerous mission for revenge against cartel boss Carlos Mejia (Louis Ferreira). A secret US intelligence agency, led by Christina Hart (Jennifer Beals), covertly uses Bryan as bait to capture Mejia, and in the end recruits Bryan to become a part of their team."
The series also stars Gaius Charles as John, Monique Gabriela Curnen as Becca Vlasik, Michael Irby as Scott, Jose Pablo Cantillo as Dave, James Landry Hébert as Rem, Simu Liu as Faaron and Jennifer Marsala as Riley.
Taken airs at Monday night at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. If you cannot watch the premiere on television but still want to watch it live with everyone else, there are a few online options. For starters, you can watch the premiere through the NBC live stream but only in select markets. The same goes for the SlingTV live stream of NBC.
The episode will also be available for streaming on NBC.com and the various NBC apps by Tuesday morning, if you aren't able to watch it live.
The Taken season premiere is lucky enough to air after the season 12 premiere of The Voice, one of NBC's biggest shows.
