To the excitement of its loyalists, HBO's True Blood is set to make its Season 4 return in a little over a week.

Back in its second installment, fans were introduced to a radical religious group called The Fellowship of the Sun, as leader Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian) and wife Sarah (Anna Camp) lead extremist followers on an anti-vampire spree.

However, Steve clearly suffered at the hands of karma, turning into a vampire at the close of Season 4. Soon after, he proclaimed that he was proud to be a gay vampire, confusing Jason (Ryan Kwanten), who rebuked Steve's romantic advances.

Although the Sarah character hasn't been around since True Blood's second season, it was reported that she's set to be coming back on board, and that she won't be wasting any time making her ex-hubby's life a living hell, according to TVLine.

The first two episodes to kick off the upcoming installment will reportedly bring with it some serious controversy in Bon Temps, including a "pivotal death, a threesome, a Hoyt shout-out, all kinds of fancy new anti-vampire weaponry and a horrifying glimpse into the future that may or may not foreshadow [a major death]," according to the TV site.

HBO's True Blood is set to make its return on Sunday, June 16 on the HBO network. Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the cable network TV series.
