Britney Spears has done it all, but the pop superstar could be adding X Factor judge to her resume.

A source tells The Hollywood Reporter, Spears' fiance Jason Trawick, who is also her agent, is currently negotiating the final contract with Simon Cowell and producers.

The "Slave 4 U" singer would reportedly be paid $10 million if she joins X Factor for its second season.

Spears was one of the many celebrities rumored to be interested in filling one of the two judges' seats once held by Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, who were fired earlier this year. But it was Cowell who apparently made the first move to court the 30-year-old pop icon.

Last month, Cowell refused to answer questions on whether Spears was in the running to become a judge, telling the press "there's going to be a lot of twists and turns over the next few weeks and a lot of things we're going to announce."

The news shouldn't be a surprise to Spears' fans and X Factor viewers. Deadline also notes that last week Cowell gushed about Spears in a radio interview with Billy Bush.

"I'm fascinated by Britney," Cowell said at the time. "This girl has resilience. I would think that if she's managed to sustain a family, a career, which is tough, (X Factor would be) a walk in the park. I would be fascinated to hear what she has to say. She's still hot, she's still having hit records and she's still controversial. There's a reason for that."
