Netflix may be interested in more Gilmore Girls, but one star who decidedly isn't is Milo Ventimiglia.

Ventimiglia, who played lovable rogue Jess Mariano on Gilmore Girls and its 2016 Netflix revival Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, is pretty much done with the series. Amid buzz that Netflix is considering bringing the show back for even more episodes, Ventimiglia spoke in a recent interview about how he's not that enthusiastic about another revival.

"I'm constantly trying to evolve and grow and I think when you have a show that is so far in the past, like over a decade in the past, to visit it once, hey, it's a blast - you see some old friends, jump into the shoes and the leather jacket of an old character. But then, you're like, 'OK, cool. We gave you that last slice of pie," the actor said on Build Series via The Huffington Post. "I'm going to go back to this other show I have called "This Is Us" and the other gigs that I'm working on.' So, as much as I would love for audiences to have more, it's also like, guys, just accept what you got and that you got a little bit more, which is awesome. Not everybody gets that."

Ventimiglia's Jess was one of Rory's (Alexis Bledel) boyfriends through the middle portion of Gilmore Girls, and even after they broke up, it was clear that he still had a special place in his heart for her. In the Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life revival, which took place a decade later, the final shot of Jess looking at Rory was a greater indication that he still loved her even after all those years.

Now, Ventimiglia is very busy on NBC's This Is Us, where he stars as family patriarch Jack Pearson. The show has become the runaway hit of the season and has been picked up for two more seasons already, so he'll probably be busy there for a while. Even still, the actor did admit that he's "always going to be there" for Gilmore Girls executive producers Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, "because they really, really, really get behind the work that they put out into the world."

Netflix has not officially announced a Gilmore Girls revival as of yet. The series and 2016 revival are currently available to stream on Netflix.
