‘The Originals’ Season 4 Spoilers: Uprising Looms; Will There Be A Different King Of New Orleans?
In "The Originals" Season 4, Marcel's authority as king of New Orleans will encounter a lot of challenges. "Gather Up The Killers" episode will see an uprising from the new enemies. Their goal is dethrone him from his position.
Marcel, played by Charles Michael Davis, has defeated Klaus, portrayed by Joseph Morgan, five years ago. Since then, Marcel took over the city and made a lot of changes. In "The Originals" Season 4, the king of New Orleans will see that he made a mistake by letting unsired vampires to enter and live in the city. Klaus, who has a brilliant foresight, never allowed this practice.
The visitors that Marcel allowed to live in his city are reported to want to dethrone him in "The Originals" Season 4. He thought they come in peace, but they have other agenda. With all the chaos going around New Orleans, Marcel just might seek the help of the former king, Klaus.
However, fans are thinking if the uprising looming in New Orleans is a plot of Klaus to oust Marcel in his position. If Marcel will indeed seek help from Klaus, will the latter help?
The promo teaser of "The Originals" Season 4 shows the vampires talking. Klaus looks better with the Tunde blade gone in his chest. Still, he is on his knees with his hands shackled. Will Marcel let go of his pride and ask for advice? The king of New Orleans is apparently still angry with the former king.
The uprising is first for Marcel even though he has walked on earth for centuries. In the past, he has the support of Mikaelson and he is part of the Original family. Now, though he is king, he seems alone after denouncing any relation with Klaus and his siblings. Watch as story unfolds on "The Originals" Season 4 on March 17 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
