The Generation 2 update has already been rolled out in Niantic Labs' Augmented Reality (AR) game, "Pokemon Go." And that means new monsters are now released into the wild, including the two new evolution of Eevee: Espeon and Umbreon.

There are two ways on how fans can get either an Espeon or an Umbreon in "Pokemon Go," according to Slash Gear. The first method is pretty much similar to what players did for the first three evolution: (Sparky) Jolteon, (Rainer) Vaporeon and (Pyro) Flareon. For the two new evolution, however, fans will have to change the name of Eevee to Sakura (Espeon) or Tamao (Umbreon) before it evolves.

The next method that fans can use to evolve Eevee in "Pokemon Go" will rely heavily on the game's Buddy System. As explained, fans will need to put the monster as a buddy Pokemon and walk at least 10 kilometers. By doing this method, the user will receive two Candies, which are used to evolve the monster to its next form.

After finishing the required distance, the next step that players must do in this "Pokemon Go" guide is to evolve Eevee into Espeon or Umbreon. The time of day will play a major role in order for this to be successful. Evolving the monster in day time will result in Espeon, while night time will give the user Umbreon.

Meanwhile, the legendary monsters Mew, Mewtwo, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, are seemingly confirmed to come out in "Pokemon Go" later this year. Niantic Labs' Chief Executive Officer, John Hanke, made the confirmation during his talk with the German division of Wired earlier this month.

Hanke, on his talk, stated that fans will hear more news about the legendary monsters in "Pokemon Go" sometime this year. Unfortunately, he did not go into specifics as to when this update will roll out - or even drop a possible time frame.
