HBO's hit vampire TV series, True Blood, is now just a couple weeks from airing its highly anticipated sixth season.

One of the characters that has piqued the interest of its loyalists moving forward is Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), as the vampire is set to move into a new phase of character development.

According to Wet Paint, former showrunner Alan Ball spoke about Bill's new abilities, which will more than certainly pin him against his former flame Sookie (Anna Paquin).

"It is Bill but it is a transformed Bill. He is not a completely new person. It's not like his memories or his experiences have been left out and he's just a baby," he explained.

Although Bill won't be absent from the memories of his past, Ball stated that he'll indeed be back on the small screen with a more aggressive demeanor.

"Is he going to be evil? What does he want? What is he going to do? Will he be able to revert back to Bill? That's for future seasons. The implication, certainly, is that he is more ferocious," he said.

HBO's True Blood is set to make its return on Sunday, June 16 at 9/8 p.m. Central on the HBO network. Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the cable network TV series.
