Kim Kardashian Kanye West Baby News: Rapper Late to Baby Shower & Reportedly Didn't Want to be There [VIDEO]
Kanye West arrived fashionably late to girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s baby shower on Sunday.
The rapper reportedly didn’t want to be there when he heard it was being filmed for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but still showed up to the party to support his girlfriend.
The father-to-be sneaked into the shower for the baby, recently announced to be a girl. He tried not to be seen as he entered the Beverly Hills home in a hooded sweatshirt. West joined a small handful of guys at the party, including Lamar Odom and Scott Disick, the Daily Mail reported. Guests also included Nene Leakes, Maria Menounos and Kelly Osbourne.
The Kardashian sisters wore white so as not to give away the sex of the baby before their official announcement of the child's gender. The baby shower was held on the same day as the season premiere of Keeping Up with the Kardashian, in which the child's sex was revealed.
West has reportedly not been around for much of Kardashian’s pregnancy. Her step-father, Bruce Jenner, said in a recent interview that he barely knows West, stating, “[I've] only met him once.” Jenner added, saying, “Yeah, he's not around, he was in Paris the whole time writing, and he just hasn't been around.”
Kardashian insisted that West was going to attend the baby shower, even though he expressed his doubts about the idea
“It's girls, but Kanye will come at the end,” Khloe told Us Weekly on June 1. “I said I want Rob [Kardashian] to be there the whole time because I feel bad he's like left out of all this stuff. So I said come the whole time, but I don't know if he is.”
It is not confirmed whether brother Rob Kardashian showed up to the Sunday party.
