There's still a lot of time left in Survivor: Game Changers, but people are already starting to make their winner picks.

Survivor: Game Changers has finally premiered, and the tone has already been set this season, with power players Ciera Eastin and Tony Vlachos knocked out in the first episode. There are still many big threats left in the game, including Cirie Fields, Sandra Diaz-Twine, J.T. Thomas, Ozzy Lusth and Malcolm Freberg, but can they survive in such a cutthroat season? Will their wealth of Survivor experience help them in the end?

This season also features a number of lower-tier returnees, like Sierra Dawn Thomas, Sarah Lacina, Hali Ford, Brad Culpepper, Troyzan Robertson and Caleb Reynolds, who could all benefit from quieter reputations compared to the threats around them. We've seen such a phenomenon in other all-star or half-all-star seasons, like Amber Brkich winning Survivor: All Stars or Parvati Shallow winning Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites, and even if Jeremy Collins was well-liked, he wasn't exactly a marquee Survivor name heading into Survivor: Cambodia.

There's also a strong middle group made up of strong contestants like Aubry Bracco, Debbie Wanner, Andrea Boehlke, Jeff Varner, Tai Trang, Michaela Bradshaw and Zeke Smith, who might be in that sweet spot to be well-trusted and not enough of a threat to take down too soon.

After the two-hour first episode, most of the contestants have made enough of an impression to not count them out just yet. Even quieter character like Sarah, Sierra and Hali had moments where they shared their strategies and each seem to be in strong positions. The upcoming episode, titled "Survivor Jackpot", will feature the big tribe swap, so all 18 players will have to adapt to their new surroundings even if they come into a bad situation.
