‘Broadchurch’ Season 3 Update: William Hill Bets Show’s Winnings at BAFTAs; Episode 4 Spoilers Feature New Mystery Girl
"Broadchurch" Season 3 is on its way to reveal its episode 4 and from the looks of it; the British crime drama is once again back on track. In fact, the online betting and gambling William Hill bet that it will be nominated for Best Drama series at the nearing 2017 British Academy Film Awards.
William Hill offers 1/5 that "Broadchurch" Season 3 is going to be nominated and 2/1 that it will win. To recall, according to Unreality TV, the second chapter of the television series didn't surpass the build up the first installment has.
The first offering got a lot of praises and, actually, critically acclaimed. Hence, some thought that the show lost its fame in the second chapter. But everything gets back no hype in the current "Broadchurch" Season 3 and even receiving more positive reviews.
"Broadchurch" Season 3 main stars, David Tennant and Olivia Colman, too, are back on top. With that, there is a big expectation that the program is going to win a lot of awards in the coming BAFTAs.
However, "Broadchurch" Season 3 has two very promising actresses, Olivia Colman and Julie Hesmondhalgh. So, William Hill offers 3/1 for the two to get nominated for Best Actress -- 2/1 for Colman and 8/1 for Hesmondhalgh. "After a sophomore slump, Broadchurch is looking good this time around and the two leading actresses are seriously impressing," the betting company spokesman Joe Crilly said.
Meanwhile, fans will see the team of investigators returning to the scene of the crime where Trish (Julie Hesmondhalgh) has been sexually assaulted in "Broadchurch" Season 3 episode 4. D.S. Ellie Miller (Olivia Colman) and D.C. Katie Harford (Georgina Campbell) will try to find more clues as they talk to the victim.
Although viewers are now more confused about Trish's attacker, as there are a lot of men added on Miller's list, there are growing suspicions who it is. Moreover, Harford will find a new suspect in "Broadchurch" Season 3 episode 4, Digital Spy reported.
After Miller and D.I. Alec Hardy (David Tennant) finally get a match on the male DNA they got from Trish. This happened after they spoke to Cath (Sarah Parish) and learned what really happened at the party. But, there will be a new mystery girl coming in the station and might ruin the case.
