'Once Upon A Time' Season 3 Spoilers: Will Hook and Charming Become New Pals? VIDEO
The upcoming third season of Once Upon A Time may feature the beginning of a friendship between Hook and Prince Charming.
The two teamed up in the season 2 finale to snatch the magic beans away from Greg Mendell and Tamara. However, Prince Charming betrayed Hook for a moment and Hook took a punch for his troubles.
In a June 2 Twitter Q&A, Charming portrayer Josh Dallas suggested that Hook and his character's relationship could evolve while on the Jolly Roger. When asked by a fan about whether his character or Hook's would be the strongest, Dallas tweeted, "Maybe they become BFF's. Butch Cassidy and The SunDance Kid. You'll have to keep watching!"
Dallas also revealed that his character might be the victor in an upcoming sword fight, as he once took on guards while holding baby Emma in his other arm.
"He sword fought with his baby in his arms," he wrote. "He can do anything!"
There is other speculation around for the new season, this time about the Blue Fairy and her story. The show has given a basic summation of the character -- she can be summoned in the Enchanted Forest by calling out her name, Reul Ghorm -- but there seems to be more to learn.
Keegan Connor Tracy, who plays the Blue Fairy, expressed hope that season 3 will open up more of the Blue Fairy's backstory.
"There have been a lot of things that have been set up for my character, with Reul Ghorm being so powerful, so I certainly hope there is an opportunity to explore that," Tracy told English online media channel Essex UK at MCM Comic-Con London in late May.
"I think there's been a call to find out what's going on with the Blue Fairy, especially once they've given this hitn [sic] about her being the most powerful being and all of that, but we haven't really seen that come to fruition. You never know what's coming!"
Tracy does have her own ideas as to what the Blue Fairy should get up to. She said, "I'd like to see the Blue Fairy get in a big fight with Tinkerbell."
Once Upon A Time will return to television in the fall.
