'Rick And Morty' Season 3 Air Date, News & Updates: Episode 301 Dubbing Almost Done; Adult Swim Responsble For Delay
Fans excitedly awaiting "Rick And Morty" Season 3 won't have to wait long as the animated series from Adult Swim is reportedly in the development and production stage. In the last quarter of 2016, fans were hyped up when reports leaked about a possible Christmas special happening. However, up until now, the third installment for the Adult Swim's animation has not been aired.
While the absence of "Rick And Morty" Season 3 is beginning to be quite deafening, fans were elated to know that the production stage has already begun. According to Den Of Geek, the voice cast has already begun dubbing for their respective animated characters.
Last Feb. 19, staff writer Mike McMahan gave the fans a delightful surprise by posting on Twitter a copy of a script with the caption "Hey @RickandMorty am I allowed to say we're recording episode 301 today?" Obviously, it was a very clear green light for "Rick And Morty" Season 3, debunking all past reports that the third season might be canceled.
Meanwhile, the creator of the series, Dan Harmon, has taken the blame for the "Rick And Morty" Season 3 hiatus. According to Indie Wire, Harmon shared his thoughts on the said delay during the Sundance Film Festival.
"It's late because of us, it's late because of me. If Justin were here he'd agree," Dan Harmon said. "'Rick and Morty' keeps taking longer and longer to write, and I don't know why," he added. As of writing, "Rick And Morty" Season 3 air date remain to be announced but the fans are already expecting it to be anytime before 2017 ends.
Previously, there were reports that the "Rick And Morty" Season 3 air date was hampered because of some internal arguments and disagreements between the creators and producers. However, Hammond clarified in a long Twitter rant that the decision for the air date for the animation is at the mercy of Adult Swim.
Meanwhile, the fans can wait patiently for "Rick And Morty" Season 3 air date announcement which is expected to happen in the next three months. Stay tuned to Enstars for more "Rick And Morty" Season 3 news and updates!
