'Castle' Season 6 Spoilers:Tamala Jones To Get Beefier Role As Lanie Amid Relationship With Esposito? VIDEO & Details
ABC's Castle will be heading into its sixth season with several question marks on its lead characters. However, while Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett's (Stana Katic) relationship along with the various deaths they deal with tend to dominate the story arc, another character is now set to take on a beefier role.
According to TV Guide, creator Andrew W. Marlowe is currently constructing an episode that will give the Lanie (Tamala Jones) an opportunity to come through.
Speaking of the character, Carter Matt reported that she'll be involved in a story revolving around her relationship with Esposito (Jon Huertas) in the upcoming installment.
One of the biggest cliffhangers heading into the upcoming season will surely be whether or not Beckett will make the move to Washington D.C., and take the job offer over a future with Castle.
"The precinct doesn't go [with her] ... I think [Kate] would still help from D.C., or wherever she was. But I hope she doesn't take the job. What's Lanie going to do without Beckett in the same [city]? I don't think Lanie would like that!" Jones stated to the site.
Castle is slated to return in the fall for its sixth installment. Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the popular ABC series. A fan-made trailer portraying the upcoming season can be watched below.
