"Steven Universe" Season 4 may be up for another long hiatus following the March 10 airing. Fans speculate that the award-winning animation may soon transfer to giant streaming Netflix.

On the last episode of "Steven Universe" Season 4, Steven and Peridot were helping Lapis Lazuli accept her past self and circumstance. It was not easy, though. Her journey to healing has put her in an unimaginable situation. Her friends' help just arrived on time as her scars continued to haunt her and pulled her into the abyss of oblivion. The two stood by her side and encourages her to move on.

Rebecca Sugar, the creator of "Steven Universe" Season 4, was reported not to have seen the need to explain why the series is always going on a hiatus. Fans have different theories and speculations about the erratic schedule of the animation. Some believed that there is no more new story to be shown, while others believe that Cartoon Network is not prioritizing the series.

With the rumors about the network's prioritization, many viewers are wondering if "Steven Universe" Season 4 will transfer to the giant streaming Netflix. However, AV Club reports that Cartoon Network has revealed programs for the 2017 to 2018 slot. It includes six new series and seven returning series. There are also 20 original mobile and console games.

"Steven Universe" Season 4 is on the list of the returning programs along with "We Bare Bears," "Powerpuff Girls" Season 2 , "Mighty Magiswords" Season 2, "Go Titans Go" Season 4 and "The Amazing World of Gumballs." "As kids' viewing habits have evolved, Cartoon Network has always been there with them," Christina Miller, president of the network's Adult Swim, said in a report by Deadline.
