'Game of Thrones' Jorah Mormont discusses potential involvement in season 7
The "Game of Thrones" season 7 is expected to hit small screens this summer.
As the much-anticipated release nears, Johrah Marmont actor, Iain Glen has hinted his probable participation in the second-to-the-last season of the medieval fantasy epic series.
According to Screen Rant, the "Game of Thrones" season 7 will feature the remaining candidates for the Iron Throne. The challengers, along with Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) as the three key players, will rise for a final face-off. The avid viewers of the series could also expect that they will be able to see Daenerys finally return to Westeros this upcoming season.
It was noticeable that Jorah Mormont has played an important role in Daenerys's ever since "Game of Thrones" has started. But then at the end of season 6, she sent him away to look for the greyscale cure that he is now infested with. As Daenerys has sent Jorah to find a cure, a lot of speculations have arisen for Glen's character in the "Game of Thrones" season 7.
Luckily, Glen has revealed some possible involvement of Jorah Mormont in the upcoming season of the well-known series. During an interview, Glen talked about how much he adores his character and that there is a possibility that "Game of Thrones" season 7 will be the last chapter that the audience might get to see his character.
"I've always enjoyed playing Jorah. It's been a role that's been good to me so far. ... There's quite a high death count in 'Game Of Thrones' and they don't blanch at removing favorite characters. They just get rid of them in a brutal way. My end may well be close but so far I'm doing OK," Glen blurted out in an interview.
With these words from Jorah Mormont, if his death is getting near it is assumed that it is not because of the greyscale as it is said to be curable. But then, if he wasn't able to find some solution there is a probability that it might be the cause of his demise. Moreover, the fans who are waiting for "Game of Thrones" season 7 doesn't have to mourn yet as this piece of information is still remained to be seen, so stay tuned.
