'Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: NEW VIDEO Footage On Upcoming Installment, 'Great Character Turns' Expected, Details
AMC's hit TV series, The Walking Dead will be heading into its fourth season in the fall under its third showrunner Scott Gimple.
In a brand new clip that reveals the first sneak peek at the upcoming installment, the show's upper brass revealed that the first episode upon its return will be written by Gimple.
Interesting enough, the writer-producer's writing resume includes two of the most popular episodes aired from last season - Clear and Pretty Much Dead Already.
VFX expert and executive producer Greg Nicotero will once again get behind the camera to direct the Season 4 opener, and stated that he feels it's "bigger than any script I've ever done before."
"[There's] new people coming in, some great character turns, great twists that will delight the fans," he added.
Amid Andrea's (Laurie Holden) unexpected death to cap off the third installment, the program will reportedly be bringing in two brand new characters, according to Carter Matt.
One of those fresh faces will be Jack, who is described as "extremely thin," in his early 20s, and is a joker, which could make a relationship with the serious Rick (Andrew Lincoln) pretty tough
AMC's The Walking Dead will be kicking off on Sunday, October 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central. The cast and crew are currently filming in Griffin, Ga.
