'Castle' Season 6 Spoilers: Actress Molly Quinn Reveals Filming Details For Upcoming Installment [VIDEO]
ABC's hit TV series, Castle, is currently in the midst of gearing up for its sixth installment, which is set to hit the air at some point in the fall.
However, while the program is still quite some time away from its return onto the small screen, actress Molly Quinn, who dons the role of Alexis, did announce on Twitter that the series will begin filming again on Tuesday, July 9.
In terms of its timing, the date of production mentioned is considered an early one for a fall series, as a majority of scripted dramas and single-camera comedies usually begin shooting in late July.
In other recent Castle news, creator Andrew Marlowe had spoken to TVLine about the rationale behind the future of Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett's (Stana Katic) relationship.
"There are a couple of really, really big, juicy and interesting moments. We feel like next season is the proper time to tap them, if we're going to be honest and true to this relationship and the complications that often come into play," he said.
Although no date has yet to be officially revealed, all indications point to Castle starting up again either on Monday, September 23 or the week after, according to Carter Matt.
