Tuesday night's second episode America's Got Talent provided even more talent than the premiere, with a variety of singing, dancing and eccentric acts.

Here are some significant highlights from the episode:

Travis Pratt:

Travis Pratt stunned the crowd when he launched into a huge operatic song that left the judges speechless. Judge Howie Mandel even asked if he was lipsynching, to which Pratt replied that it was all him. Before the judges could put him through, he brought his girlfriend up on stage and proposed marriage to her. With the audience completely won over, the judges enthusiastically sent him through to the Las Vegas rounds.

Jonathan Allen:

Jonathan Allen similarly won the crowd over with his own operatic voice. The 18-year-old launched into Time to Say Goodbye, made famous by Andrea Bocelli. Before the performance, Allen admitted to the judges that his parents kicked him out of the house for being gay. Stern said that he hoped his parents were watching to see what an amazing son they have. He was sent through to the next round.

D'Angelo and Amanda:

At a modest 12 and 13-years-old, D'Angelo and Amanda performed an elaborate ballroom dance number that delighted the judges. Stern boldly proclaimed, "This is why I came to San Antonio. I was waiting for you two." D'Angelo admitted that the pair formerly dated and that there's still a little attraction left, on his part, anyway. They were sent through to Vegas.

Alexanderia the Great:

51-year-old mom Alexanderia performed an act involving jumping into a pool with her hands and legs being shackled and her body being wrapped in chains. She held her breath underwater while she unshackled herself, coming up at least a minute-and-a-half later. Mandel compared her to famed magician Houdini, saying she was essentially his reincarnate. She was sent through to Vegas.

Paul Thomas Mitchell:

After telling the judges about his rocky childhood, 19-year-old Paul Thomas Mitchell serenaded the crowd with an original song called My Life. Judge Heidi Klum compared his voice to John Mayer while Stern said, "I think you have star power." He was sent through to the Vegas round.

The third episode is scheduled for a one-hour block next Tuesday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
