In the latest "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 4 updates, reports confirmed that Viola Davis will be returning to Shondaland in order to deal with another round of mystery and murder. It was then added that this season will be aired on September 28, Monday and will feature 15 episodes like the previous seasons of the series.
Previously, according to Hollywood Reporter, ABC was able to release one small teaser for "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 4 together with two trailers for Shondaland-heavy "TGIT" programming block. It was reported that ABC will merge these two shows in order to feature an exemplary story.
However, even if so many plots for "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 4 have been leaked, Peter Nowalk, the showrunner was still fairly tight-lipped about the direction of the story of the series but he gave some pretty hints. It was previously reported that students of Annalise Keating played by Viola Davis will already be halfway through their time in law school and will be in a stable place.
But like other shows, Den of Geek reported that the "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 4 will suddenly feature a story which might not be alright for viewers and the fans. Reports then claimed that every season of the series starts with a central mystery and Nowalk provide some interesting hints about this Season 4 mystery.
Nowalk even added that he always encourages the writers of the series to start with a mystery in every season. This includes the killer of Sam, suspect for shooting Annalise. He even emphasized that the question will not focus on "who" but on "where" to differentiate it from other seasons. These things make the story of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 4 different from previous seasons and it is packed with a great mystery.
Moreover, it was also reported that the first episode of "How To Get Away With Murder" Season 4 will have a title, "I'm Going Away" and will already enter its middle years. Some reports claimed that the story will not be the only element which will be changed but also with the cast. Latest reports claimed that Jimmy Smits will be joining the cast in an undisclosed role.
