AMC's hit zombie TV series, The Walking Dead, continues to garner a massive amount of interest for its upcoming fourth installment.

Actor Norman Reedus, who dons the highly popular role of Daryl, recently took to Twitter on June 10 to repost a fan-made gag photo that involves his character, the recently offed T-Dog (IronE Singleton) and Carol (Melissa McBride).

In the last few seasons, there has clearly been some attraction between the likes of Daryl and Carol, which has caused speculation of a possible pairing in future episodes.

Although the picture was made for comedic value, executive producer Robert Kirkman said fans should "never say never" to a Daryl-Carol romance, according to an AMC blog post.

"I think it could happen eventually. I wouldn't want to spoil anything, but Daryl is a complex character and he's really got a lot of emotional hurdles to get over in his life. It is kind of odd that we haven't seen him in that kind of romantic light, but I think that adds a layer to the character that makes him a little more mysterious and a little cooler. But I wouldn't rule out some kind of love interest for him in the future," he added.

AMC's The Walking Dead will be kicking off on Sunday, October 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the hit zombie series. Get an inside look at the fourth season below!
