The hit British-American TV drama, Downton Abbey, continues to garner attention on a massive scale for its upcoming fourth season.

One of the million dollar questions on loyalists' minds is most certainly how far creator Julian Fellowes will delve into Thomas' (Rob James-Collier) homosexuality.

On June 12, James-Collier took the opportunity to dish to E! Online on his character's future in the romance department, stating that Thomas will be getting an "evil partner," but not before going through his share of other men.

"He goes through a few, but he gets one eventually. Whether he lasts, we'll have to see. I can't see on the horizons, to be honest. He's been unlucky in love. I mean, when you go around kissing men while they're asleep you're not going to get a positive response... You can't go around doing that. It's not the way to strike up a relationship," he said.

Interestingly enough, homosexuality was actually illegal during the time that Downton takes place.

Downton Abbey is set to premiere its fourth season in the U.S. on Jan. 5, 2014, and it will run until February 23, 2014. Keep checking back for more of the latest details on the popular series. For more Downton dirt on the upcoming season, check out the video below.
