Although Fox's hit musical TV series Glee won't be returning to the small screen until the fall, fans are still scouring the web for the latest details on its storylines.

Actor Kevin McHale, who dons the role of the handicapped Artie, spoke to Digital Spy on June 12 about what the audience can expect from his character in the romance department moving forward.

"I feel like that's where he belongs, and I feel like a lot of the relationships he's been in have the potential to go there, but then he says some stupid stuff and messes it up, because he's a teenager trying to figure it out. I think eventually he will find someone to be with for a long time," McHale dished.

The 25-year-old also addressed Season 3's highly controversial Shooting Star episode, acknowledging that filming it was both "surreal" and "incredibly sensitive."

While in attendance at the 53rd Monte Carlo TV Festival, McHale stated that he was surprised upon hearing the news that Glee was renewed for a fifth and sixth season.

"To have two seasons at once is just surreal - I will play Artie as long as they want me," he said.

Although no clear-cut date has yet to be set in stone for its return, Glee's fifth season is slated to return at some point this upcoming fall.
