Maci Bookout's Son Bentley Turns Nine Ahead Of 'Teen Mom OG' Season 8
Maci Bookout's son, Bentley Edwards, turned nine on Friday, Oct. 27.
As Bookout and her family prepare for the upcoming premiere of Teen Mom OG season seven, she has her hands full at home with not one, but three little ones. As fans know, the reality star is mom to Bentley, who she shares with ex-boyfriend Ryan Edwards, and her two youngest children, two-year-old Jayde Carter McKinney and one-year-old Maverick Reed McKinney, who she shares with husband Taylor McKinney.
"Go Benny, It's your birthday!" Bookout wrote in the caption of an Instagram collage.
"Happy Birthday to my 9-YEAR-OLD!" she continued. "I am so blessed to be his momma and could not be more proud of the amazing young man he is! Love you Benny!"
As fans have seen on Bookout and McKinney's Instagram pages in recent days, the couple was just in Los Angeles to attend the taping of a number of Teen Mom 2 specials, including the season eight reunion.
Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney began dating one another years after Bookout split from Edwards. In October of last year, they tied the knot in Florida surrounded by their close friends and family members.
On their one-year anniversary earlier this month, Bookout shared a slideshow with her fans and followers on Instagram and in the caption, she wished her husband a Happy Anniversary.
"Today we celebrate the best decision you ever made! But seriously you're really good at putting up with me, I love you so much babe!" she wrote.
Bookout and her former boyfriend, Edwards, have been attempting to co-parent their son Bentley in recent years. However, during the sixth season of Teen Mom OG, Edwards' substance abuse struggles were exposed. As fans of the series will recall, Edwards shocked fans when he was seen nearly falling asleep as he drove to a courthouse to marry his now-wife, Mackenzie Standifer, who then questioned him about taking Xanax.
Following filming on the controversial season of Teen Mom OG, Edwards entered into a treatment program where he remained for several weeks before ultimately reuniting with Standifer and the rest of his family.
No word yet on when Maci Bookout and her costars, including Catelynn Lowell, Farrah Abraham, and Amber Portwood, will return to MTV for Teen Mom OG season seven. However, fans will likely hear something about the new season sometime before the year's end.
