American Idol voters eliminated Shannon Magrane from the competition Thursday, the 16-year-old singer from Tampa, Florida, daughter of an ex major league pitcher.

Magrane's last performance of "One Sweet Day" by Mariah Carey and Boys II did not earned the judges' one save of the season last night to keep her in the competition.

"Thank you guys so much because you guys have been so loyal to me and so honest with me," Shannon told her fans. "I just want to say it feels so good standing on this stage."

Elise Testone and Erika Van Pelt had joined Shannon in the bottom three.

With Magrane's departure and Jermaine Jones' elimination for lying to the show's producers about his criminal past earlier this week, only 10 contestants remain.

The other remaining contestants are Colton Dixon, Deandre Brackensick, Heejun Han, Hollie Cavanagh, Jessica Sanchez, Joshua Ledet, Phillip Phillips and Skylar Laine.

Next week, the finalists will meet fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, who will serve as American Idol's "image adviser."
