Tyler Baltierra Shares Emotional Statement After Catelynn Lowell Enters Rehab
Catelynn Lowell is currently seeking treatment after considering ways to kill herself.
At the end of last week, the Teen Mom OG star shocked her Twitter fans and followers when she admitted to suffering from suicidal thoughts and confirmed she would be venturing to rehab in the near future. A short time later, her husband, Tyler Baltierra, took to Instagram and shared an emotional statement with his own social media audience.
"We just dropped her off. We haven’t held each other & just cried like that for a long time. Even after 12 years, I continue to be AMAZED by her strength, vulnerability, & courage to get help," Baltierra wrote on Nov. 18. "'As long as I am alive, you will never be alone' - It is my call to arms & I will fight this war with her right by her side, we will not surrender to this...I will go to battle EVERY TIME for her!"
On Nov. 17, Lowell wrote a statement to fans, which read, "Well today I thought of every way to kill myself.. so I'm going to treatment #makeChesterProud @TalindaB #KeepTalkingMH #thiswontlast."
Lowell also shared an image of her daughter Novalee's toy horse in the car with her and included a caption about taking the toy with her to treatment.
"I'm gonna hold it close to my heart the whole time... #thiswontlast #thiswontstopme #keeptalkingmh," she said.
Lowell and Baltierra, who own their own clothing line, tied the knot in August 2015 and welcomed their second child that same year. As Teen Mom OG fans well know, the couple is also mom to 8-year-old Carly, who was adopted by another couple in 2009 as they filmed 16 & Pregnant Season 1.
Prior to Lowell's shocking suicide announcement, she and Baltierra were facing rumors of possibly welcoming a third child. Although the couple hadn't announced any firm plans to welcome a third baby with each other, Baltierra had been sharing plenty of messages about the idea on Twitter. In one particular tweet, he said he would love to have a baby boy with wife Lowell at some point in the near future.
