Casting details on the upcoming season of AMC's hit zombie series, The Walking Dead, continue to circulate, as more news has recently surfaced.

According to Spoiler TV, the creative brass is looking to bolster up its cast with the addition of three new characters.

Laura is a former nurse and a single mom, who should be an asset to Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the prison group if/when they are wounded. The respective role is recurring.

Melody is described as "tough and funny" and will reportedly serve to minimize the stress on the group through her comic relief. However, no details were given on the frequency she'll appear.

The site also stated that TWD is on the lookout for the part of Don, a guest star that's between the ages of 50 and 70. He's said to be cranky and has a granddaughter.

While no back-stories have been released thus far, it's undoubtedly feasible that that all or a majority of the characters came from the Governor-led town of Woodbury.

AMC's The Walking Dead will be kicking off on Sunday, October 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the hit zombie series. Get an inside look at the fourth season below!
