Now less than a week away, Showtime's Dexter is set to premiere its eighth and final season this Sunday.

While there have been a slew of spoilers that have already come out, the latest scoop is in regards to its eleventh episode and the arrival of a brand new anchorman in actor Jason Williams, whose known for his work on soaps such as All My Children.

Spoiler TV put out the following statement on June 18 in regards to the Williams casting move:

"Jason Williams will play the role of an Anchorman in Episode 8.11. No further details are known yet."

The popular series will begin its farewell season by way of a seven-month time jump, as it will be revealed that Dexter (Michael C. Hall) and Deborah (Jennifer Carpenter) haven't exactly been the closest of siblings during that respective time gap.

In other Dexter happenings, new photos from the set are now out. The first one features Deb (Jennifer Carpenter) leaning over a shrink-wrapped Dex (Michael C. Hall) while the second picture shows the latter flying a kite with his son Harrison.

The third photo reveals a scene with Detective Quinn (Desmond Harrington). Sargeant Batista (David Zayas), Detective Miller (Dana L. Wilson) and Vince Masuka (C.S. Lee) paying their respects to some sort of mural.
