'Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta' Season 2: Trailer Reveals Explosive Drama Between Stars, Things Get Physical?
It’s that time of year again – another season of Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta is underway. WeTV has released a new teaser for the upcoming season full of explosive drama and issues.
Money Comes Between Bow Wow & Jermaine Dupri
The drama is certainly still going strong in the sophomore season of the show that surrounds children who have famous parents and/or relatives in the Hip-Hop industry. The teaser opens up with issues between none other than Jermaine Dupri and his protégé Bow Wow.
Bow Wow revealed in the sneak peek that he had done a couple of shows for Dupri, but the mega-producer failed to pay him.
“I want my bag,” said Bow Wow. This isn’t the first time there has been drama between the two on the show. But it looks like now that money is involved, things could get pretty ugly. Still, Dupri has a much different perspective as he was clearly surprised when he was told he, “threw Bow Wow by the wayside.”
Interestingly enough, Da Brat, who has a history with both Bow Wow and Dupri after being on Dupri’s So-So-Def label with a teenaged Bow Wow, might be Team Dupri. She came for Bow Wow after he revealed to her he had plans on finishing an album without Dupri’s help.
Brandon Barnes' Drama Resurfaces
The drama between Brandon Barnes, son of popular Hip-Hop manager Deb Antney, and Reginae Carter, daughter of Lil Wayne and Toya Wright, also continues in the sophomore season. But it’s Barnes’ ego that sets off Antney as the two were spotted getting into a heated screaming match in the teaser.
And just when fans thought things couldn’t collide anymore, Bow Wow and Antney get into it as well over an artist. It all looks like it could get physical when Bow Wow disrespects the artist and calls her out of her name. That was enough for Antney and the artist to take their emotions up a few notches. The artist even threatened to “make one phone call.”
Ayana, daughter of popular DJ Hurricane who has worked with The Beastie Boys and Run DMC, brought her dad to tears when she talked about getting surgery and goes under the knife in the new episodes. He made it clear he thought it was a life-threatening operation.
Growing Up Hip Hop returns Thursday, Jan. 11 at 9/8c. Check out the teaser below and be sure to keep up with Enstars for the latest on your favorite television shows and celebrities.
