CW's The Vampire Diaries executive producer Julie Plec continues to stir the pot of anticipation for the popular TV series' fifth installment.
One of the latest bits of info on Season 5, which debuts in the fall, involves the future of the recently resurrected Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen).
Loyalists of the program were enthused when Jeremy made his return in the Season 4 finale. However, it turns out that his current existence isn't expected to be smooth sailing, as Plec reportedly stated that they'll be a slew of brand new conflicts as he heads back to school, according to Hollywood Life.
Not one to take things too seriously, the EP also addressed the comedy factor involved with Jeremy returning to his academics following his memorial service.
"What the hell cover story is that going to be? How's he going to explain that? He had a memorial service! There were flyers! Plec explained.
Although no official airdate has yet to be announced, Season 5 of The Vampire Diaries is slated to begin in September.
