With HBO's hit cable series, Game of Thrones, now well beyond the wrapping of its third season, it's creative brass are surely looking ahead to Season 4, which isn't slated to launch until next year.

While the popular period piece hasn't exactly adhered to George R.R. Martin's books, Wet Paint suspects that the cable network version of the Jon Snow character will be leading a faction of Night's Watch soldier in order to protection Castle Black.

In the equally enticing GoT novels, the Wildlings group is actually led by Styr, Magnar of Thenn, whose already been confirmed to be in the fourth season, according to Wet Paint. To top it off, the character dies in the books, which will surely serve to make many loyalists speculate just how close the show's writers will stay to the books' story.

On the other hand, it's also a possibility that the character will make his presence known as part of Mance's main force, stated the site.

Although no official airdate has yet to be announced, HBO's Game of Thrones is set to premiere its fourth season at some point in late March or the early April. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details.
