Hal Mason (Drew Roy) is struggling under the effects of a seriously malicious ex-girlfriend.

Following Karen's (Jessy Schram) capture in season 1 of TNT's sci-fi drama, Hal has managed to move on with his love life while Karen has subsequently managed to become buddies with the Espheni alien overlords.

Season 2 saw Karen use her sway over Hal in order to plant an alien probe into his mind, causing a major problem for Tom Mason's (Noah Wyle) eldest son as season 3 moves forward.

After finding out he was sleep walking into the woods and possibly meeting up with Karen, Hal suspects he may be the mole that is wreaking havoc on the 2nd Mass. While the troubled youth tries to find a way to tell his father he has been compromised, he winds up having a face-to-face chat with himself instead.

In a new clip from the upcoming fourth episode, Hal has it out with his evil side. Facing himself in the mirror, Hal tries to determine if he wants to keep lying about his aliment in order to protect people or if it is because he secretly wants to keep having suspicious rendezvous with Karen due to his latent feelings for her.

Hopefully Hal's human side will be strong enough to win over the persuasions of the alien probe.
