'Revenge' Season 3 Spoilers: Emily VanCamp Talks Series 'Cliffhangers' & Secretive Production Plans?
Actress Emily VanCamp spoke with Entertainment Tonight recently about her projects this summer and season 3 of her ABC show Revenge, giving fans a sneek peek of what to expect.
VanCamp, who plays Emily Thorne in the drama series, is finishing taping Captain America: The Winter Soldier where she plays the hero's love interest, Agent 13. The film is expected to be released in 2014. She is also working an independent film she called "very close to my heart" titled The Girl in the Book. For the latter the actress will film in New York for the first time, interestingly enough to note since Revenge is set in the Hamptons.
As for season 3 of Revenge, VanCamp reportedly said production has not told her much in regards to storylines. She did say, however, the that upcoming season will be full of plot twists that will keep viewers entertained.
"We're going into the third season with so many cliffhangers to figure out and wrap up, which is going to be really interesting to see what they do with it," she said. "They haven't really told me anything yet."
Season 2 ended with Emily Thorne revealing her true identity to childhood sweetheart Jack Porter, her friend Nolan Ross getting arrested and Aidan Mathius leaving her. Emily and Jack may team up to plot their revenge against the Grayson family in the new season, actor Nick Wechsler hinted in a May interview.
"I think he's going to be hurt and not trust her," Wechsler said of his character. "She's got to earn his trust back. If he does team up with her, it's only because they have a common enemy, not because she's out of the doghouse."
The show's official Twitter account on June 12 uploaded a photo of Emily Thorne wearing a black strapless dress and a long necklace while flames of fire go off behind her. The image was captioned, "We can't wait to #TurnUpTheHeat in #Revenge #Season3."
