Although ABC's Castle is quite some time away from its Season 6 premiere in the fall, that hasn't stopped fans from frantically scouring the web for the latest info on Castle's (Nathan Fillion) proposal to Beckett (Stana Katic).

While many of the show's loyalists are surely assuming that Beckett will indeed accept Castle's proposal for marriage, anything still seems feasible at this point, according to Carter Matt.

Fillion recently spoke to TV Line about the complexities involved with the potential union, and also gave kudos to executive producer Andrew Marlow in the process.

"That's one of the things that Andrew has done very well, in that it's very realistic that two people who really ought to be together maybe don't see it. Or the timing isn't right ... These are things that happen in real life. That life gets complicated. That it can never be easy. This is something, I think, that we can all relate to. It's a truth in that everyone is comfortable with," he said.

Although no airdate has yet to be made official, all indications point to the show starting up again on either Monday, September 23 or the following week, stated the site.
