A writer for the ABC series Revenge uploaded a Twitter photo on June 22 revealing plot details for episode 4 of the show's third season, set to premiere in the fall.

A member of the show's writing team uploaded a photo with a caption telling viewers that writers were in Palm Springs working over the weekend. The picture shows a paper of "Whiteboard notes" dated June 21, 2013. A header written in handwriting reads, "Nolan storyline" for episode 304.

The photo's caption tags the Twitter account of Gabriel Mann (Nolan Ross) and also English actor Barry Sloane, hinting to the fact that perhaps Aiden Mathis will have a large role in episode 304 (the fourth episode of the third season).

Since the weekend, Sloane made it clear via Twitter that he is no longer hard at work on Revenge but instead taking a vacation. He posted photos of him traveling across Italy and he tweeted on Tuesday, "#Firenzi was beautiful, #Roma awaits." He later uploaded a photo showing the inside of an Italy train. He captioned the latter image, "Richard Branson should have a look at how the Italians do Train travel. #frecciarossa #executive."

On Tuesday he also tweeted that he was making his way through "the beautiful Italian countryside."

Season 2 of Revenge ended with Aiden walking away from Emily Thorne and symbolically their relationship as well, after he realized that she would not back down from her scheme of getting revenge. Nolan was arrested by authorities in connection to the kidnapping and supposed death of Padma, his assistant-turned-girlfriend. Rumors circulated that perhaps Nolan will be killed off by the Graysons while in jail, much like what happened to Amanda Clarke's father.

Season 3 of Revenge airs in the fall, Sundays on ABC.
