While there's still a considerable amount of time left until the return of the fourth installment of HBO's hit series, Game of Thrones, that hasn't stopped its speculation from flaring up on the web.

Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) is one character that's surely piqued the interest of the GoT fans, who are more than likely wondering what his future holds.

Interestingly enough, it's already common knowledge that Jaime won't be adhering to his book storyline in George R.R. Martin's A Storm of Swards, as he doesn't come home until after the Purple Wedding, which is where Joffrey (Jack Gleeson) dies.

The respective event actually features Jaime's first conversation with the members of his family. However, his role at the wedding on the show still remains up in the air.

In the GoT novels, Jaime and Cersei (Lena Headey) resume their sexual relationship after the Purple Wedding . The latter attempts to convince the former to murder Tyrion because she thinks that he is the one that killed Joffrey. However, Jaime wants to know more about the situation.

Wet Paint reported that while the general storyline of Jaime and Cersei's relationship may change, "the general outline of Jaime and Cersei's relationship will probably stay the same."

Although no official airdate has yet to be announced, HBO's Game of Thrones is set to premiere its fourth season at some point in late March or the early April. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details.
