'Falling Skies' Season 3 Spoilers: Episode 5 Tom and Pope Struggle to Survive on 'Search and Recovery' VIDEO and PHOTOS
Tom Mason (Noah Wyle) and John Pope (Colin Cunningham) must walk the fine line between comrades and enemies in Falling Skies "Search and Recovery."
In the fifth episode of season 3 both Tom and Pope struggle to survive after their plane was shot down by Espheni ships at the end of last week's "At All Costs." Bloodied and alone in unknown territory, the two contrasting characters must join forces while waiting to be found by Captain Weaver (Will Paton) and his 2nd Mass troops.
In a preview video for "Search and Recovery," Pope and Tom are the supposed only survivors of the crash. Surrounded by dense forest, the pair appear to be ambushed by Skitters.
"There's only one thing I can't stand more than you, Mason," Pope can be heard saying in the clip. "And that's Skitters."
Back in Charleston, it appears that Marina Perlata (Gloria Reuben) may be making a play for power, according to Spoiler TV.

Ben Mason (Connor Jessup) can be seen comforting a distressed Matt Mason (Maxim Knight), presumably after receiving the news that their father is missing, Meanwhile Weaver is shown on horseback leading Hal Masson (Drew Roy) and Maggie (Sarah Carter) in the rescue mission. Tom and Pope are pictured bloodied and preparing to fight.
"Search and Recovery" will air on TNT this Sunday at 10 p.m.
