The CW's hit TV series, Vampire Diaries continues to garner interest for its upcoming Season 5, which isn't slated to come out until the fall.

According to SpoilerTV, fans of the program will be introduced to four new characters in the fifth installment's premiere.

Nadia, a 20-something, is said to be both "emotional and beautiful," but isn't your average gal, as she's "traveled the earth on a mission of vengeance."

Jessie, in his mid 20's, is a college upperclassman that's more than likely a male, judging by the way his name is spelled out.

Megan is described as the "head of her class," "too smart for her own good" and in her 20's as well while Tessa is the insightful and pretty daughter of a nobleman.

In other recent VD happenings, Kat Graham (Bonnie) recently spoke to Wet Paint, and admitted that she didn't foresee her Season 3 death coming.

"You know, I didn't see it coming. I was like, there is no way they would do that. Then I read the script, and I was like, oh. They're doing it. And they're leaving it that way," she said.

The CW's Vampire Diaries is slated to kick off Season 5 on Thursday, October 10. Its spin-off series, The Originals, will be launching its first season on Tuesday, October 15.
