It was recently announced that Fox's hit musical TV series, Glee, will reportedly be bringing in its fifth season with five new series regulars.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jacob Artist (Jake), Becca Tobin (Kitty), Melissa Benoist (Marley), and Glee Project graduates Blake Jenner and Alex Newell have all been given full-time roles for the program's upcoming episodes.

The respective info follows last week's announcement that four of its longtime cast members will be used in place of Mark Salling, Amber Riley, Heather Morris, and Harry Shum Jr., who will have reduced parts moving forward.

Interesting to note, Glee has put out roughly nine to ten episodes prior to its usual winter break. In the past, the show would get mini-breaks for various sporting events or other TV programming. However, FOX entertainment chairman Kevin Reilly stated in May that he was looking to air the show all the way through, according to Wet Paint.

"Historically, on Glee, we've split up the order in the past and launched it twice. SO what we're going to do is come out with a fall season of Glee," he explained.

Although no clear-cut date has yet to be made for it's the show's return, Glee's fifth season will more than likely be coming back on Thursday, September 19 at 9/8 p.m. Central on FOX. The midseason finale should come out on either Nov. 14 or Nov. 21, stated the website. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the popular TV series.
