'Castle' Season 6 Premiere: Stana Katic Indicates That Beckett Won't 'Choose Love Over A Career'? [VIDEO]
Although ABC's Castle is currently on a hiatus until Season 6 kicks off in the fall, its fans still continue to speculate on whether Beckett (Stana Katic) will either accept Castle's (Nathan Fillion) proposal or accept a job offered to her in Washington, D.C.
While conducting a recent interview with TVGuide, Katic took the time to dish on her character's current predicament, and the rationale behind it.
"If she drops the FBI gig, she's a loser. This is a modern woman's story, and I don't want to send the message that a woman has to choose love over a career. New York and D.C. are not that far apart, and Rick's a millionaire. They can travel. I think it would really be a big disservice to the character to create a job opportunity like this and let it peter out," she said.
Although no airdate has yet to be made official, all indications point to the show starting up again on either Monday, September 23 or the following week, stated Carter Matt. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the popular ABC series.
