Glee's Naya Rivera (Santana) confirmed that she'll be making her return to the popular musical TV series while Dot-Marie Jones (Coach Beiste) stated that her status for Season 5 still hangs in the balance.

According to E! News, Rivera said that she'll be gracing the series with her presence once again in both Seasons 5 & 6.

However, the same cannot be said for her previous squeeze, who was played by Heather Morris (Brittany), as she'll reportedly make her departure.

Jones stated that she's "still waiting" to see whether or not her character will be written into next season's script.

"I pray to God I am! It's the best job I've had in my life. I'm thankful every day [for my job on Glee]. I mean, this is my 23rd year in the business and, then to have two nominations for an Emmy the past two years? It's surreal," Jones told the site.

Although no clear-cut date has yet to be made for it's the show's return, Glee's fifth season will more than likely be coming back on Thursday, September 19 at 9/8 p.m. Central on FOX.
