'Walking Dead' Season 4 Spoilers: Grumpy Grandfather Don Cast, Set To Debut In 'Rise,' VIDEO & Details
The popular AMC zombie TV series The Walking Dead has just added another actor to its cast as it continues to gear up for its highly anticipated fourth season.
According to Spoiler TV, Danny Vinson, who's well known for his roles on The Curious Case of Benjamin Button as well as Talladaga Nights, will be coming aboard to don the part of Don, who's described as a semi-grumpy man between the ages of 50 and 70 years old with a granddaughter. Vinson will reportedly make his first TWD appearance on episode 6, which is titled Rise.
As was previously announced, loyalists of the program will be introduced to two other characters in the respective episode. One is a single mother and former nurse Laura, who's described by the site as "tough and funny woman" by the name of Melody.
While the role of Melody hasn't been cast yet, Waterboy's Lawrence Gilliard Jr. was signed on to play the other, which is Bob Stookey, an ex Army medic and a town alcoholic.
