'How I Met Your Mother' Season 9 Spoilers: Episode Details Revealed By Executive Producer! [VIDEO]
Although it's still a considerable amount of time away from its Season 9 return, CBS' hit sitcom, How I Met Your Mother, continues to garner a tremendous amount of buzz over it upcoming installment.
HIMYM executive producer Craig Thomas recently used his Twitter on July 6 to post a series of messages in response to the popular program's inevitable end of days.
"#HIMYM Final season starts production Monday! Thrills! Chills! Me, crying alone in my office at the end of each episode we shoot! Did I say 'crying alone?' I mean, crying with @carterbays! Thank God we've got each other!"
The EP also took to the social networking site to confirm that the TV sitcom will be airing a total of 24 installments in its upcoming season.
"To answer many folks' question: Season 9 will be 24 episodes. And we promise, it will be awesome," he said.
In other HIMYM news, TVLine had reported on the program's premiere episode, The Locket, will be featuring Marshall (Jason Segel) not being able to attend Barney's (Neil Patrick Harris) wedding.
The predicament is reportedly spurred by Marshall getting thrown off a flight due to a tiff with an attractive female passenger.
The object of Marshall's desire is said to be Camille, an African-American or Latina in her 30s or 40s. When the woman grows tired of his behavior, a confrontation gets them both ousted from the airplane, leaving the former in dire need of another method of transportation to the Farhampton wedding.
