'Sherlock' Season 3 Spoilers: Actor Says Finale Episode Should Shock Viewers, VIDEO & Details
BBC's hit TV show Sherlock has garnered serious anticipation for its third season, which isn't slated to hit the small screen until 2014.
Actor Andrew Scott, who dons the role of Jim Moriarty on the program, recently spoke to The Mirror on July 7 about the upcoming installment, which surely isn't public knowledge.
While most fans were hoping for more info, he was able to relay the shock value that lies ahead for the show.
"If I told you what happens they would kill me. I never guessed how the last episode would end. It even surprised me," Scott said.
While the 36-year-old was able to voice his enjoyment for the work, he was also adamant about stressing the strict confidentiality protocol that producers of the TV series enforce.
"It has been fantastic filming the new series but we have all been banned from telling our families or friends what is in the scripts. We are not allowed to speak to anyone, " he explained.
Although the creative brass had high hopes for Sherlock, Scott said that the cast and crew was surprised to see just how good it would do nonetheless.
"I don't think everyone thought it would be so successful. I can see it still on TV in 20 years as we all started working on it very young," he said.
