While there hasn't exactly been a slew of news on USA's Psych lately, Community standout Yvette Nicole Brown is now confirmed to guest star on the program's eighth season.

According to TVLine, Brown will be coming on board the popular show for one episode.

Actor Dule Hill (Gus) had taken to Twitter on July 5 to let his fans know that the actress would be briefly joining Psych.

"Guess who's coming to hang in our @Psych_USA #Community real son #Psych'os?!! ...@YvetteNBrown!!! Whaaat!! You Know That's Right!!!"

Brown aside, the site had previously stated that Elementary's Vinnie Jones, New Girl's Kali Hawk and Wonder Years' Olivia D'Abo would also be coming on board the TV series for Season 8.

Hawk is set to appear as a skillful private investigator whose case brings her directly to Shawn (James Roday) and Gus. To top it off, the character will apparently have a charming effect on the latter.

D'Abo will be joining the show as a "master infiltrator" and confidante to a heinous British convict, which will be embodied by fellow guest star Jones.

Along with the three newly announced actors, Carly Elwes will be reprising his role as Pierre Despereaux, and Kristy Swanson will be back as Marlowe.

While Season 8 of Psych won't be airing until early 2014, a two-hour musical special will be gracing the small screen at some point during the fall. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest details on the popular TV series.
