'America's Got Talent' 2013 Episode 6 Recap VIDEOS: 212 Green and Jimmy Rose Get HIgh Praise
Tuesday night's sixth episode of America's Got Talent featured a wide variety of acts, including original songs, dancers and death-defying acts.
Here are some significant highlights from the episode:
Jimmy Rose:
This former Marine and coal miner touched the judges singing his original song, Coal Keeps the Lights On. Judge Howard Stern said he would put Rose on the radio in a second, and Howie Mandel said that he has a good "voice, sound and heart" for country music.
Aerial Ice:
This group of ice skaters performed their extreme ice-skating act with finesse and had the crowd on their feet chanting "Vegas!" Judge Heidi Klum said that their act was "never-wracking" and "spectacular" while fellow judge Mel B called them "refreshing," commenting that she had never seen anything like that before.
Chloe Channel:
At 11 years old, this young country singer charmed the judges and the crowd with her rendition of All American Girl by Carrie Underwood. Mandel said that she definitely has a career ahead of her. Klum said that it's time for another child to win America's Got Talent.
Yasha & Daniela:
As child ballroom dancers, this act charmed the crowd with their personalities and their moves. Mel B said that the whole routine was "on point" and said that she was speechless. Stern said that even at such a young age, this act "has it."
212 Green:
This five-person band from New York City performed their unique spin on Adele's Rumour Has It, complete with harmonies and a rap breakdown in the middle. Mandel said, "You kids are going places," and Mel B called them her "favorite so far." The group told her that she was an inspiration, which prompted her to hug each member of the group.
All five acts were sent through to next week's Vegas round.
The season's seventh episode is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10 at 9 p.m. on NBC. It is the final audition episode.
