'Castle' Season 6 Spoilers: TV Show Casting Federal Agent To Affect Castle & Beckett Relationship? VIDEO & Details
Actress Lisa Edelstein, a former House standout, will reportedly be coming on board ABC's hit crime series Castle to play a crucial role in its sixth season
According to TVLine, Edelstein will be present in several episodes of the program when it makes its return in the fall. To top it off, she'll be donning the role of a federal agent who could have a serious impact on Beckett's (Stana Katic) career, which ironically goes hand in hand with the latter's relationship to Castle (Nathan Filion).
The fifth installment of Castle came to a close on a cliffhanger with the crime novelist proposing to the Beckett. Although the cast has been tight-lipped thus far, Katic did admit that she knows what her character's answer will be.
Edelstein was last seen on the small screen in Scandal, and also had guest roles in House of Lies and Elementary last season.
Although no airdate has yet to be made official, all indications point to the show starting up again on either Monday, September 23 or the following week, stated Carter Matt.
