Sofia Vergara shows off her curves for the cover of the August 2013 issue of Harper's Bazaar.

In the magazine she talks about being considered a sex symbol, the reason her fiance' Nick Loeb appeals to her and the significance of her role on Modern Family.

Vergara, who recently celebrated her 41st birthday on July 10, admitted in her cover story that she doesn't go out of her way to look good because as a Latin woman her beauty routine comes naturally to her. The Colombian actress said a woman should always wear makeup unless she is a supermodel or really young.

"It's automatic. I shower, do hair and makeup," Vergara told the magazine. "For me, it's like shaving. I don't believe in a natural look. Lipstick brightens your face!"

The Covergirl model admitted that her fiancé, Nick Loeb's, physical attributes are part of the reason she is in love with him.

"He's really handsome," she said of her husband to be. "He's 6-foot-4, and he has blue eyes and a lot of black hair. Or it used to be black. Now it's got a lot of white in it. Nick says all the white hair came from me."

Vergara also said she doesn't think there will ever be a better role for her than that of her character Gloria, a mother of two in ABC's Emmy award-winning hit comedy series Modern Family.

"I don't think there's ever going to be a better part for me," she said. "But I do think--and my son and boyfriend agree with me--that I could play a crazy psychopath. I'm not joking."

Celebrity photographer Terry Richardson worked with Vergara for the issue's fashion spread. In the pictures she wore various fashion designers, including Ralph Lauren Collection, Christian Dior and Miu Miu.
