Cory Monteith: 'Glee' Star's Best Moments as Finn Hudson [VIDEOS]
In the wake of Cory Monteith's death, Enstars compiled a list of some of the actor's most memorable performances on Fox's hit show Glee.
In the show's first season, Monteith and co-star Lea Michele performed a rendition of Journey's 1983 hit Faithfully. While the two were a real-life couple before his passing, Monteith and Michele also had a romantic relationship on set. Monteith's character Finn Hudson, the show's heartthrob, and Michele, who played Rachel Berry, began dating back in the first season.
From the first few notes of his performance of I'll Stand By You, Monteith's vocal ability was apparent. His rendition of The Pretenders 1994 hit made season 1 that much better.
In season 2, Monteith also proved there wasn't any classic tune he couldn't handle. The actor sang R.E.M.'s 1999 hit Losing My Religion and it was an unforgettable performance.
One of the most heart-warming performances came when Finn and Rachel performed the 1987 Michael Jackson hit I Just Can't Stop Loving You in season 3. The chemistry between the two was transparent.
Monteith also helped to pay tribute to a famous boy band in season 4. The actor and singer performed Backstreet Boy's 1999 hit I Want It That Way as some of his co-stars performed NSYNC's Bye Bye Bye on the same stage.
In a more modern rendition, Monteith performed the Bruno Mars tune Just The Way You Are during season 2, making it very easy for fans to melt.
His acoustic version of REO Speedwagon's '80s song I Can't Fight This Feeling Anymore is another song that displays the singer's versatility.
One performance that Glee fans should easily recall is when the Glee cast members performed Coldplay's 2002 song The Scientist. Monteith was joined on stage by some of his co-stars, including Michele, Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera and Darren Criss.
As fans remember some of his unforgettable Glee performances, the actor's co-stars and celebrity friends also took to Twitter to express their condolences.
