Amongst other its many other happenings, fans of AMC's hit zombie series, The Walking Dead, are surely wondering what lays ahead for former town of Woodbury dictator, the Governor (David Morrissey).

While comic book creator/executive producer Robert Kirkman wasn't able to fully spill the beans on the one-eyed big bad's future, he did touch on his presence moving forward into Season 4.

"While the Governor is still out there and still a threat, we're going to see him in a new light and he won't appear until we least expect it. I don't think people are really going to be able to anticipate what we do with the Governor; it's going to be radically different," he said.

The EP also went on to elaborate that the Governor and various other characters will be developed in different ways in the upcoming installment.

"Once that story unfolds over the course of this season, people will this is a very different story from season three and we are breaking some new ground with these characters," Kirkman added.

AMC's The Walking Dead is slated to launch its fourth season on Sunday, October 13 at 9/8 p.m. Central. Be sure to keep checking back with Enstars for more of the latest info on the popular program. A look ahead at Season 4 can be viewed below.
